From the Heart Counseling, Inc., a private practice in Saint Charles, IL, is looking for part time and/or full time psychotherapists to join our practice.

Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of Illinois with 3 years post independent licensure experience, preferably with private practice experience and registered with CAQH and paneled with BCBS. Compensation is percentage based on income received. Therapist must have a niche(s) (children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc.) and be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. From The Heart Counseling, Inc. will provide a steady stream of referrals as well. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance the work environment. Candidate will be employee status.

Requirements are:

*Current State of Illinois license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC
*Willing to work 15 hours per week or more
*Minimum 3 years post independent licensure
*Paneled with BCBS and United Healthcare a plus
*Prior private practice experience is a plus

Administrative Assistant will manage the front desk of From The Heart Counseling, Inc.. Administrative assistant will answer phones, maintain client records, coordinate appointments with clinicians, manage the business social media page and other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Practice Manager and Owner.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Communication or Business; and

  • Flexibility to work M-Th between the hours of 11am-8pm

Other Qualification Preferences:

  • Prior experience in a mental health setting.

  • Prior reception or administrative experience.


This is a part time position with the potential to increase to a full time position. Work schedule is flexible and based on current needs of the practice.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming client calls and schedule them with the appropriate clinician within an appropriate time frame.

  • Check new client benefits before their first session and notify client of benefit details.

  • Communicate regularly with clinical staff regarding new appointments, benefit checks, and their availability.

  • Maintain From The Heart Counseling’s incoming call spreadsheet, including tracking referrals in TheraNest.

  • Provide appropriate referrals to the community when we do not fit client needs.

  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.

  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for From The Heart Counseling, Inc.

  • Check new client files to ensure all intake paperwork is uploaded into TheraNest. Keep client files accurate and up to date.

  • Contact clients for declined payments to update client records. Verify and/or update client insurance card and credit card information every 3 to 6 months.

  • Assist Practice Manager in rectifying any denied claims with insurance companies.

  • Attend monthly meeting with Clinical Director, Owner and Practice Manager as directed by From The Heart Counseling, Inc..

  • Other duties as assigned by From The Heart Counseling, Inc..
