What the heck is this tribe you keep talking about?
tribe // a social community or family with a common culture; a distinctive close-knit group
So what does that mean here? On this website?
Well I would like to think of this as a community! FTHC Tribe is a place where we support each other. We believe in each other. We value each other. We want to see/help each other grow to reach maximum potential. We challenge each other to be better. We tell each other the truth. We offer advice for relationships, parenting + more.
What the Tribe is not...
The Tribe is not a place to be rude to others, to belittle others for their parenting styles or relationship choices. It's not a place where I'm going to be shoving pitches/sales into your face 24.7; although, I will share opportunities, information + updates. I promise I will not be beating you over the head with "salesy" stuff. Why? Because I hate groups like that, you hate groups like that + no one wants to be a part of that.
How can you do all of that through a website?
Currently Tribe members are subscribers to the FTHC Newsletter (psst! sign up below) + receive exclusive updates, freebies, early info, etc. Tribe members also have access to an exclusive community where members can engage with each other. We also host events locally and virtually.
Seida, get real - those things can't actually happen through a website...
I beg to differ! I belong to some really awesome online communities that have supported me through tough times! When it felt like there was no one I could talk to IRL (in real life), I went to the community + they gave me practical, real-life suggestions for handling things, while continuing to support me. I have formed some pretty great relationships with several people + met a few of them IRL (in real life). Don't doubt the power of an online community!
Do you offer live (in person) workshops, groups, etc?
Yes! For those who live in Illinois, FTHC offers individual + family/group counseling sessions, support groups, workshops, events + much more. Visit the events page to see what groups we currently have available.
I'm not sure I want in just yet...
Well if you're not sure if you want to join the community just yet - that's just fine! Whatever your hesitation is, it's okay - no one going to judge you if you're not ready to commit yet.
